Modern golf dates back to the east coast of Scotland in the 15th-century Fife Empire. The event is the very first golf course where players would hit a rock on a sand course. Rabbits use an old club or tracking rod.
In the 15th century, while Scotland was preparing to defend itself against invasion by the Auld Army, King James II of the Scottish parliament closed the game in 1457.
