Birth of Golf

If you are serious about golf, then it is up to you to learn about its rich history. Almost every modern sport has a history that can go back thousands of years - the history of golf is no different. To this day, the very history of golf is vague and always ready for debate.

Today, we will highlight some of the most critical events in American golf history, as well as the people who pioneered the game.

Modern golf dates back to the east coast of Scotland in the 15th-century Fife Empire. The event is the very first golf course where players would hit a rock on a sand course. Rabbits use an old club or tracking rod.

In the 15th century, while Scotland was preparing to defend itself against invasion by the Auld Army, King James II of the Scottish parliament closed the game in 1457. This is because many people did not pay attention to their military training in order to play the game. Most people ignore the ban, and it was not until 1502 that King James IV of Scotland (1473 -1513) issued a royal decree authorizing the festival. He became the first golf king.

Golf became an official sport in 1744 when Leith's Gentleman Golfers founded the first golf club and organized an annual tournament. Duncan Forbes is the founder of the rules of the tournament. One of the first 13 rules is as follows (this should sound familiar to most analysts out there):

If your ball gets in the middle of any water or dirt, you are free to take out your Ball & bring it after the accident and scratch it; you can play for any Club and allow your Enemy Stroke to take out your Ball.
