The Most Famous Park in Barcelona

The Most Famous Park in Barcelona

Park, park, large garden, grounds, excellent and clear architectural, designed by the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi.

The Most Famous Park in Barcelona

The park is named after Eusebi Guell, a wealthy entrepreneur, and the count had a great love and passion for Gaudi's work and became one of his patrons. Initially, the park was conceived as part of a luxury residential complex, but over the years this idea was rejected, and in its place the park and the park created by Gaudi became the background for history.

The park was opened to the public in 1922 and has since become one of Barcelona's main tourist attractions. In 1984, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

What makes it so special?

This green area corresponds to 17 hectares, and includes rounded column shapes that seem, at the time, to be animal and geometric figures. Use architectural elements that adorn mosaics made of colored ceramic cubes.

An architect inspired by nature has decorated the park with magnificent buildings that mimic natural forms that are neither shameful nor classic. All gang elements and colorful uniforms can be influenced symbolically, politically, and religiously.

The artist made the majority of the 196 ft (60 m) and slope of Mount Carmel, in which the garden is located on the path, the path of spiritual elevation on which Gaudi planned to build a chapel, which was eventually replaced by the" Monumento al Calvario", a cliff, on the highest part of the park, where visitors will be able to get the best view of Barcelona, Spain.

The park is located in the center of the city, it is a large playground with a large sofa that runs through an area that is at least 360 feet (110 m) long. It has the shape of a long snake and is decorated with colorful mosaics.

In the park, where the Gaudi House Museum is located, the architect and his family stayed from 1906 to 1925. It currently consists of a collection of furniture and objects designed by Gaudi. In our opinion, it is very interesting to visit.

On either side of the entrance are two houses that seem to be coming out of crisis. One of these buildings is now located in the store, and the second is the so-called Casa del Guarda (Guard). It consists of audio-visual shows about how the park is being built.

Worth a visit :

Park Guell is a magical, unique and green service area that allows visitors to wonder. It would be a shame to be in Barcelona and not in the magic green room.

You'll have to buy a ticket to the monumental part of the park. Usually there are huge queues here, about 400 people were in the park for half an hour, so we recommend buying tickets online and avoiding endless queues. Online tickets are cheaper than tickets purchased at the park in the park.
